Custom Knit/Crochet Picture Items
First, you need to contact me :) Send me your photo and let me know if you want me to build something special, and I'll give you a price estimate.
2) Please tell me how often you are usually able to respond to emails. The reason for this is explained in number 4.
3) Once the final project and price are settled, I will bill you for half of labor. Once paid, I will send you a PDF of the pattern.
4) I will send you progress pictures for approval. After sending each picture, I will not continue work until a response is received. This deeply affects completion time, and if completing a project takes a lot longer than expected (say, 2 months instead of 3 weeks), you will be charged a weekly Overtime Fee. However, if you tell me from the get-go that you might only be able to respond once every two weeks, I can estimate completion accordingly.
5) Once I finish crocheting and mounting the project to watercolor paper (or otherwise completing something special), and you are happy with it, I will bill you for the other half of labor, materials, and shipping (and if necessary, Overtime). Once paid, your new artwork will be on its way to you!

Custom Knit/Crochet Patterns
This process starts out similarly to a Custom Item; I need your photo, and I need to know if you want to make something special. Once the general parameters are established, I will send you an invoice.
2) I will paint and chart the pattern, showing you a final preview of each. Once you are satisfied, I'll send you the final PDF pattern!
Small modifications, such as "retouching" images, are free. Significant changes, such as finding that your gauge is different after the chart is completed and sent, will require a small fee.

Custom Knit/Crochet Costumes
This operation is a combination of both of the above, except that instead of an image, I will need your measurements and desired design. I will estimate a price for you.
2) Please include average email response intervals.
3) I will create the pattern and give you an accurate price. Once the price is settled, I will bill you for half of labor.
4) Progress pictures will be sent for approval.
5) When the project is completed and approved, I will bill you for the remainder as explained above. I will send you the PDF pattern if you request it.

PLEASE NOTE, the price of a work can fluctuate until the pattern is finalized. This can happen if you need me to build something to specific dimensions and my gauge is off, or if you find your gauge is off and I need to remake the pattern.
