Interesting news: I received a commission for creatively-colored hummingbirds, during which I developed the idea for giving them feet as well has hanging hooks and hanging flowers that I had thought of long ago but never developed...back to work!
The Festival has passed with moderate success; evenness was not broken, nor were any familiar non-family faces seen, but advertisement was made, and that was the new main goal for the event. However, De Anza Flea Markets approach! And for much less investment, after bringing all of my products back from Esparto...but I think I should at least break even at these events, assuming the attendance is similar to the cloudy cold Almond Festival weather. There'll even be more space for my dad's tent! No more standing in other people's tents!
I am nearing the end of the blanket. This comes with a mixture of relief and remorse, for it seems like a pretty work of art, but there are so many real mistakes that I could easily have fixed. On the bright side, it will be ready for the Almond Festival, and I might even have time to make a couple of other things to sell as well!

I finally realize the importance of the dated progress page...it shows just how much I'm actually working!
